In order to minimize the risk of damaging the cargo during on- and off-loading, the ABIPA experts decided to deliver all parts of the equipment directly from the producer in Hungary to the receiving client by road.
The delivery was performed using 25 heavy-duty trucks and took one month. The trucks loaded with the equipment covered 5,5 thousand km from the temperate to the permafrost zone.
During pit stops and unloading, the experienced drivers took all the necessary measures to prevent tyres and brake fluid from freezing.
In the course of project implementation the ABIPA specialists faced difficulties at the border between Russia and Lithuania. However, all challenges of political and economic nature, as well as those put forward by the weather and cargo specificity, were successfully overcome. The consignor remains ABIPA’s loyal customer.
