At ABIPA Logistics, we place great importance on the protection of the privacy of individuals. Processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies shall be based on the Regulation (EC) No 45/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18 December 2000.
Following the provisions of Article 2 of the EC Regulation No 45/2001, ‘Personal Data’ shall mean any information relating to an identified or identifiable, directly or indirectly, natural person, in particular by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her identity. As a rule, we do not require any personal data for using ABIPA Logistics website or for using the information obtained via the website. However, to use our e-services such as placing inquiries, seeking for consultations via online chat, etc., you may be asked for some personal data while completing the relevant form, such information being your name, occupation, address, e-mail, phone number.
Based on the above:
ABIPA Logistics collects and stores your personal data to the extent necessary to perform specific tasks and provide individual e-services, with such extent being defined by the data controller. We do not use the information repeatedly or for the purposes other than those for which it is intended.
Information disclosure by ABIPA Logistics to any third party shall be made exclusively for the performance of specific tasks and to the recipients of certain categories only, with no disclosure of such data for further distribution. Furthermore, ABIPA Logistics undertakes to adopt appropriate measures to prevent third parties from unauthorized use of such data.
Handling of personal data by ABIPA Logistics shall continue only for the period required to complete the task for which it has been collected.

In addition, the data subject may object to processing of his/her personal data by referring to any reasonable legal grounds.

For obtaining an opinion on the data processing actions associated with yourself or exercised by you personally, you may also address the Data Protection Officer of every institution who ensures that the actions of data processing do not adversely affect the rights and freedoms of data subjects.
If you have any reasons to believe that your rights have been infringed in relation with the personal data processing, you may lodge a complaint before the European Data Protection Supervisor being an independent data protection authority. Appeals against any decision of the European Data Protection Supervisor may be brought before the Court of Justice of the European Communities.
